I've been drifting away from the typical teenager'd mindset when it comes to texting. Texting, the thing that most kids worship these days has really been annoying me lately.
I've been ignoring a lot of texts nowadays cause now they're just stupid. I don't care about stupid forwards. If you really loved me as much as half of those forwards said you did, then call me up or write something unique for ME, and not all 132 of the people on your phone list.
That and not even my phone mom spells out her words. I love her, don't get me wrong (yay for mothers day) but I don't like replacing "are" with "r" and see with "c." It bugs the heck out of me and encourages me to not reply.

My graduation party
Well I thought it was going to be cool until I saw a bunch of stuff that my mom was putting together in the basement. Pretty much everyone has weird and embarrassing things, whether they be objects or photos, that represent a person when they were much younger. Well I was one cooky kid when I was smaller and there's a heep full of embarrassing photos, journals, drawings, etc. all ready for people to look at. Egh. Oh well it makes for laughs I guess.
But in this one journal booklet thing, I was writing about my "guard dog" and how him and me were always guarding things. Funny thing is that I've never even had a dog. Just an IMAGINARY one.
Ah well. I miss being a kid. :)

My brother is all grown up now
The boy that I played tag and gameboy with all my childhood just graduated from UNL this weekend. And today he moved in to his own apartment. He's an ADULT now. It really makes me think about what it's like when I'm his age. He's got a great job and pretty much everything going for him. Good job, brother. :) I don't want to grow up, but I guess you can't always have what you want. Cause if you did I would seriously have a pet tiger.
Despite the boring graduation parties though, I'm proud of my brother.

Summer is almost here
I can't wait until school is finally out. All I'm gonna do is work and make music. I just discovered one of my friends is a good singer too. I'ma start up a side project with her.
And then become famous.
Right? :)

So I'm Gonna Graduate
I was sick with a flu (NOT the swine flu ;) ) about a week ago and with that resulted in myself sitting at home alone most of the day. With little energy to play guitar, video games, or do ANYTHING for that matter, there was just me and and my thought. I started thinking about how close to school is getting done with and how soon I will be graduating. And until that moment it hadn't hit me yet that I'm finally growing up. I always planned on attending UNL (and that IS where I'm going) but I guess I never realized that I was ACTUALLY going to be going through it. People were right, I guess the senior year does seem to move fast.
Jason Mraz
And the Plain White T's are amazing. I went to their concert (along with Miss Rowse!) and we all agree it was an amazing concert. Although I got such little sleep and am very tired from the experience, I feel the occasion was worth it. I love going to concerts and I hope to go to a lot more this summer.
